Living Lord held its first service on November 3, 1985 and has been an active growing part of our community ever since. As our name implies, we are truly a congregation Alive in Christ and Growing in Faith.

Rev. William D. Wolfe, Pastor Emeritus     The Reverend William D. Wolfe, now
Pastor Emeritus, developed the mission and became our first pastor.  With the grit and determination of a committed congregation and the support of the ELCA, Pastor Wolfe shepherded us through the building process, and the beautiful facility was dedicated to God in February of 1994.

Pastor Paul Christ was called to Living Lord in
July 1995 following Pastor Wolfe's retirement. He
resigned in November of 1997 to accept a call directing
an Intra-Synodical youth camp in California.

Pastor Rob Cosmas began service as our third pastor in June,1998, and was installed on July 26th at an overflow worship service. He has energetically assumed the call exhibiting passion, devotion, and vision through a commitment to the Lord and His people.  In December, 2004, he accepted a call from Trinity Church and School in Kissimmee.

May God continue to bless our ministry together.

The Columbarium Garden

On July 13, 1997, the congregation approved the construction of this columbarium intended for all Living Lord members and families which was financed by preconstruction sale of 15 niches. The structure was built to hold 36 niches with a total of 14 still available at a cost of $600 each. There is an additional cost of $150 each for the bronze identification plaques.

Dedication of the columbarium took place on Easter Sunday, April 4, 1999 and, in Pastor Rob's words, "It provides a beautiful place of contemplation which will give glory to God for generations to come."

For any further information, please inquire at the church office or see any of the following committee members: Rick Hill, Shirlee Lohuis, or Jack and Ginnie Lewis.
