Our Congregation's
Mission
WE, the children of God, commit ourselves to
membership in
Living Lord Evangelical Lutheran Church.
As a Community of believers, individually forgiven
by the
grace
of God, claimed
by the miracle of Holy
Baptism,
sustained and
nourished by His Word and
the
Sacrament
of Holy Communion,
we pledge
ourselves
to be:
 A warm and
carrying community who
worships
regularly, prays daily, and lives as forgiven and
forgiving servants
of
Christ and of each other.
A learning
community devoted
to Christian
Growth for God's children of all ages.
A witnessing
community who,
with the help of
the Holy Spirit, will reach out to all persons with
the good news of
God's love in Christ.
A serving
community who will
respond to the
needs of all people in our neighborhood and
God's world.
A giving community who will
faithfully support and
willingly participate in the ministry of Living Lord
Evangelical Lutheran Church by freely giving our
time, talents, and treasures
to
the glory of Jesus
Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Recognizing our oneness in Christ, we pledge ourselves
to
foster
a spirit of
awareness, acceptance, tolerance,
and
patience toward
all of God's creation.
